A red and a blue ISLI Studio bag leaning against each other, showing their circular handles

Two shapes, and how to choose between them

Two silhouettes, two ways of carrying ISLI

We deliberately chose not to multiply models. The collection is made of two silhouettes, offered in several colours.

The Toubkal and the Jelija are not simple variations on one shape: each has its own construction, its own character, and a different way of being carried.

Here is how to choose the one that suits you.

The Toubkal, the triangular silhouette

Wide at the base then drawn in towards the top, the Toubkal takes the profile of the mountain whose name it carries.

Its structured construction lets it keep its shape, while its circular cut-out becomes the handle itself. No metal part is needed: function is built into the silhouette.

Choose the Toubkal if you want a graphic bag, able to become the strong element of an outfit. Its structure gives it a particular presence, whether it is carried or simply set down.

Worth knowing: unlike a soft bag, the Toubkal does not flatten under your arm. Its shape stays visible and assertive.

The Jelija, between clutch and shoulder bag

Structured and drawn around clean lines, the Jelija can be held in the hand or worn on the shoulder thanks to its adjustable strap.

More classic in its construction, it slips easily into an everyday outfit as well as a dressier silhouette.

Choose it if you want a versatile model, able to follow you through different moments of the day.

Worth knowing: the Jelija is now part of the ISLI Archives. The pieces still available are the last examples of this silhouette.

The shape gives the character, the colour gives the tone

Each silhouette exists in several colours. The shape determines the presence of the bag, while the colour changes its expression entirely.

An olive Toubkal and a bright pink Toubkal share the same construction, but tell two very different stories.

Our bags are made mainly from premium deadstock leather, selected as materials become available. The shades and particularities of each hide can therefore vary slightly from one piece to another.

How to choose?

Choose the shape first, according to the way you carry a bag: structured, graphic or versatile.

Then choose the colour, according to the way you dress, or the way you feel like daring to.

Both silhouettes are in our shoulder bags collection.
