Six months at Printemps Haussmann

Six months at Printemps Haussmann

In 2025, ISLI spent six months at Printemps Haussmann in Paris, in a space dedicated to the brand.

Meeting a new audience

A department store is a place of passage, of discovery and of movement. Visitors are not necessarily looking for an independent accessories house: the pieces have to catch the eye through their shapes, their colours and their presence.

Six months is long enough to go beyond staging and genuinely observe. Which silhouettes are noticed first? Which colours make someone stop? Which details make you want to touch, to try, to know more?

Those spontaneous reactions gave us a better understanding of how ISLI pieces are read, outside the usual world of the brand.

Conversations beyond the display

This presence also gave rise to more personal appointments with clients.

Those conversations were a chance to walk through the design process, the construction of the bags and the choice of deadstock leather. Each hide has its own shades and particularities, which makes every piece a singular model.

It was also a chance to understand the relationship each person has with an object: how it will be carried, which colours they turn to, and which details matter day to day.

What the experience brought ISLI

This presence at Printemps Haussmann gave ISLI real visibility, but above all it put the pieces in front of a wide and varied audience.

Without knowing the story of the brand, visitors responded to the architectural silhouettes, the colour pairings and the graphic construction of the pieces.

The experience confirmed that beyond its story, ISLI has a visual language able to stand on its own.
